Fellow Readers....
First off, I truly hope that everyone has a safe and blessed New Years! I am glad that 2021 is over. I'm looking forward to what 2022 has in store. Since my mental health has been under control, I look forward to a 2022 with an unlocked mind, and emotional stability. What I don't look forward to is a reset health insurance deductible, but who does? I spent some time after therapy this evening in my local Starbucks café working on some more poetry for my latest WIP, Love is Strange. It's my second poetry book based on the theme of love. My projected due date for this book is Summer/Fall 2022. And if it takes longer, that is completely ok. The goal is build upon what I did with the first book to improve as a writer, and published author. I also have three pending submissions to anthologies/literary magazines of a few poems. I'm hoping to be accepted, but if I'm not that's ok. The point is to try. As my late father always said, "Don't sweat the small stuff!" Make your resolutions, and even if you fail. Ask yourself this. Did you try? Because if you did, then you've succeeded regardless if you completed the task 100% or not. Jan
